Why it happened - who knows....it's been unseasonably warm and gorgeous all week
Why it makes me happy - time to get those leaves knocked down.....start thinking about that permanent change in the weather.....Thanksgiving....etc.

Why it happened - this one had gotten put off
Why it makes me happy - it was great to tackle this one on a dreary, rainy day....it was fun....and, at the end of it, a feeling of accomplishment.

Why it happened - had to get out after being couped up all day long
Why it makes me happy - I ate at the old Granitos long ago. They were legendary for lots of garlic.....and bad service. Yes...they took pride in being so slow. It wasn't my cup of tea but, hey, they had plenty of customers who didn't mind. Anyway, they moved to a new location....close by. The food?....TREMENDOUS. The service?.....OUTSTANDING. Yes....I will be back there again.
