HappyUP!!! We've Been in a Recession
"Speaking of the slowdown, it's official: We're in a recession. And have been for a year. The National Bureau of Economic Research officially declared today that the U.S. economy slipped into recession in December 2007. "

"What's so HappyUP!!!ish about that news? - hey, we all knew that we were in one or heading into one. It's good to know that we already have a year behind us.
Recessions can last awhile - I am absolutely GIDDY that we alreay have 12 months in the rear view mirror.
....and, of course - the sarcastic side of me (that I have been trying to suppress over the years) can't let the opportunity go by to say........Duh! Thanks for the newsflash!

In a recession, it isn't always bad. Most people don't realize how much money there is out there. During economic times like this, there is more money to be had than ever.
