Today, while getting my MacBook problem solved, I decided to just get it done while I was there.......and I THEN found out that they just upgraded the iMAC yesterday!!! Sometimes procrastinating pays off!!!

So lucky

Why it makes me happy - we had a boo boo on the very first hole. My bro, “innocently enough” said, “that’s not a very good start.” Without the blink of an eye, I said, “just a bit of rain, brother, bound to have some during the round...that was ours...it just passed through and we have sunshine the rest of the day”...and the sun came BLAZING out on the very next green when my brother made a birdie on a stroke hole!

Of course, I go before 7 a.m.  I was so fortunate that they sold me 1/2 dozen golf balls. Sure, I wanted a dozen but somebody had stolen 6 out of the last dozen box they had. Sure, I had to go to customer service and, yes, there was some confusion. The time waiting was NOTHING compared to me having to drive somewhere else for what I needed.

Though it does not cover his area (where he was neutered), the suit seems to be acting as a deterrent to him “going there.”  I have high HOPES that this is a perfect solution

Why it makes me happy- I have my coffee in hand as I come out of the grocery store. A strong wind comes up at the right time. It blows the little jacket off my coffee. It’s raining too. The jacket has gone flying. I put my groceries away.  Despite the weather, I take the 30 seconds it takes me to get that coffee jacket. Guilt? Nope. I would have forgotten all about it as soon as I drove away. I did what other people don’t do....cleaned up their mess despite the inconvenience to do so...and that makes me feel good. I got a HUGE positive out of that. It’s what winners do....the inconvenient thing when no one’s watching that is the RIGHT thing to do. Hey, I may have had help from the wind but, I littered....until I didn’t.

Why it makes me happy - great seeing this busy dude. He has the best of problems...how to handle the overload. It’s a problem but it’s a heck of a lot better than dealing with the problem of scarcity. Love this guy! Great to see him

Why it makes me happy - a little bit for the party...a nice something for me for the week...all the stuff to make another dish I want to attempt. When I take the time, I actually enjoy cooking. Yeah, you get some, “that was OK...not worth the time I put into it,” but, in general, you get the, “winner! Put that on the “play again list.”

Why it happened - it’s a music thing

Why it makes me happy- I was noodling along and went, “why is this sounding so good? I’m not in the right place on the fretboard...but...it sounds good...so I must be in a good place.”  I’ll need to look it up but I think I may have solved the “what the heck is a relative major or relative key” thing that I have heard about. You can “book learn” something but, if it doesn’t make sense,  you won’t retain it. I’ll get some valuable info here.

Why it makes me happy - “a friend is someone with whom I can be myself aloud”...it’s great to be that for someone. Probably even better than to have that someone be that person for you. Great stuff today!

Why it happened -it’s a thing

Why it makes me happy - OK...this is something really cute...with dangerous consequences. The Q-ball has gotten in to a habit of jumping up on to my shoulder and then hanging out. I have owned many cats but have never seen this behavior. It’s actually kind of cool. Of course, “it’s all fun and games until someone gets hurt.” Hopefully, he continues to have his claws set to “retract” mode.

Why it happened - it was time

Why it makes me happy -am I really going to answer that voice in my head? Will I succumb to the “everybody has one good book in them” school of thought? We shall see. I started up the experiment in the lab today.  That is a lot of pages in one sitting. If I can be as prolific in the future, I will be edits in fairly short order. It was a better start than I could have hoped for so, today, I celebrate!
