Why it makes me happy - NOBODY, including me, can imagine the risks that the dudes took to put this country on the map...NOBODY. THAT is what this holiday is about.

Why it makes me happy - we got to do a "game after the game." 5 holes.....two 4-man scramble teams for a friendly wager after we played 18.....nobody in our way....just a whole lotta fun

Why it makes me happy - she is 4.5 yrs old.......and the cutest, smartest little "kinda great niece" a "grand uncle" could hope for. We had nothing but a lot of fun waiting for her first fireworks show ever

Why it happened - once a year...it does
Why it makes me happy - food....friends.....brother/sis-in-law....nephew/grand niece.....old friends.....perfect weather......a nice environment.....great fireworks........all in the confines of SAFE and SANE.....no wahoos doing weird stuff with fireworks or all "tanked up".....best 4th I have had in a long time.
