Why it makes me happy - it's been awhile since I was out grinding a bit on the putter. There really is something to be said for just knocking that ball into the hole. It not only builds confidence but, if you allow it, there is a zen like quality to it.

Why it makes me happy - I don't know if I have ever gotten out to the alley with the garbage can just as the truck was showing up....but I got an up close and personal with "the jaws" as well as some eye contact with my sanitation engineer. Why it makes me happy - there I was....out on the golf course....8 a.m. tee time....in AUGUST.... here in the Sacramento area.....and it was just stunningly perfect. The breeze wasn't too much but it was enough to evaporate any perspiration that my have thought of surfacing.

Why it makes me happy - I had just made a bad mistake on 16 by three putting. I opened the door for my adversaries. Why it makes me happy - I announced on the first tee that my brand new white whit green checked shorts are my new lucky shorts.....I had a three way game and pronounced that, whenever I wear these, I must be paid from all accounts. 4 hrs later....I was paid by everyone. I think I might be doing a lot of laundry in the near future to keep these by my narrows.

Why it makes me happy - today, we went over in great detail about the closest thing to a "magic bullet/pill" that has been researched and proven to be effective in promoting superior mental (as well as physical) health. It's free...no prescription needed......yep....you guessed it....exercise.

Why it makes me happy - it probably isn't funny to her today.....but it was VERY funny to us. No, I won't describe what it was she did when she lost her balance. All I can say is that it was quite a site!

Why it happened - I had a putt I liked

Why it makes me happy - my adversary had just drained a 30 foot putt...on the critical 9th hole...for birdie. Yeah....basically I was screwed and going to drop some cash after THAT unexpected occurrence. I got my downhill 20+ footer with about a foot of break going on line....booyah! While I was hoping it would win me $20, it saved me all of that....you know what good old Ben Franklin would say, "penny saved...penny earned."

Why it happened - I was the only guy to birdie the 12 hole

Why it makes me happy - I was playing out of town at a club where a bunch

of guys get together for some friendly competition. I drained about a 30 foot putt

with 5 feet of break. Little did I know, that shot would end up requiring every guy

in the competition to pay me 4 bucks! I was sitting in the lounge and, all of a sudden,

guys just came up and started giving me 4 bucks. I have never had people get in line

to hand me money....I kind of like it. Maybe I should get a job at a toll booth!

Why it happened - I took my chances

Why it makes me happy - OK...this is really stupid. I live in an old house...I bought it from my parents...they lived here for 30 yrs give or take...in Roseville...with no central air upstairs. They always bragged about how the swamp cooler bailed them out. Since I have been here, it hasn't been a swamp cooler because the pump didn't work right. It's not THAT hard to fix....but I wasn't sure that was the problem. I didn't call someone to fix it because I HATE getting ripped off. The guy I called today was GREAT!!! He does HVAC as well...and I will refer him to TONS of people. AND.....I will be living much more comfortably. Yeah.....there were some personal Nutster issues around this deal. Conquered!!!...on to the TV project!!!

Why it makes me happy - I hate trimming the lemon bush...it usually wins!!! I only got one small nick today....and it spurred me to do some pruning of the more friendly bushes. Hmmmm...looks like I am trying to get everything right to do some nesting!
