Why it happened - I was challenged!
Why it makes me happy - Pitt is a great speaker.  It meant I would need to step up a bit as his evaluator. We want our speakers to get better and better. He gave a speech that was a joy to evaluate.....and I believe he walked away with good feedback

Why it makes me happy - it is just a wonderful family thing to be able to do. My brother was my partner. We got a nice little win.

Why it makes me happy - THAT 8 iron to gimmie range on 9 was one of the best irons I have struck from a fairway in a LONG time. It was a tight little draw that could have easily been dunked for the eagle 2!  I'm on the right track

I had an AWESOME bracket lined up....and this team was KEY.  BUT.....they lost.  The happy thing is now I can just enjoy the rest of the tourney. I've never been in a bracket pool before. It was fun. I had a good chance...upsets happen

We were optimistic, "hey, look at the Doppler....it looks like it is going to miss us to the North!"  I'm just happy I have raingear and that I didn't get too wet before we called the match at halftime

Why it makes me happy - par 4 number 3 at my course is one of the toughest par 4's in the area. Few hit it in the requisite 2 shots that is expected....especially me. I have decent distance but....the way the hole is set up....you have to have big distance...especially this time of year...to get there in 2. It was a thrill to put it thee today

Why it makes me happy - it's artichoke season. When I prepare them, I always cut off the stem. It is how I was taught. It was GREAT to find out...and confirm....that that the best part of the choke, the heart, actually extends down the stem. More yumminess!!!

Why it makes me happy - every drop is like gold.  I am doing my part conserving.....I am a minimum user per the website available from my city.  I like the idea that, as more storms come in, it puts us "a bit" in the clear for this year. Yep...we'll all need to conserve this year.....FOR NEXT YEAR in case we get more drought conditions. Just glad that we look better and better every day
