Thrilled for all of my peeps.....none of them thought they could do what they did at one time during their development. My presentation in support of the event went pretty well too.

National Celebrate Yourself Week - HappyUP!!!

It's here! - August 24.....the beginning of the greatest non-official week long celebration

of the year!

Sure - it coincides with my birthday....purely coincidental. It starts on that day only to make

sure that I don't forget to remind YOU.......

......to go out - and enroll and enlist in some EXTRA self care this week.

What is it that you don't do enough of - that really makes you happy?......pampering (like at a spa)?.....taking in nature?.....diving uniterrupted into a book for multiple hours?.......writing/ journaling your deepest thoughts?......time with a musical interest?......coffee with a dear friend?.....slipped a little lately on your meditation practices (a quiet mind is a WONDERFUL thing to indulge yourself with)?

What....what.....what? - is it that you KNOW you haven't been doing enough of lately?

C'mon.....you KNOW what it is - now.....get out there and DO IT!.....and do a LOT of it!!!

I'm decking up my week - and I dare you........OVERLOAD yours.......

Why it makes me happy - my game has been off all year. Do you think going over a year without any instruction may have played a role in that? Duh! When will I learn? It's easy in golf to go back to what is comfortable.....and that is often not a good thing. Onward and upward!

Why it makes me happy - our club is great. They need to host afternoon tourneys for money raising. Instead of screwing everything up, they say, "hey....come out early...we'll do a special shotgun and you can get your round in early." 18 holes done by 11:30....NICE!

Why it makes me happy - pulled my drive behind a tree....had to hit it low, uphill, and about 100 yds. I took the 9 iron that usually goes 135 yds and pitched it low and running with a slight hook which was needed. I canned the 12 foot putt and saved my bacon

Why it makes me happy - it was a little toasty when we teed off. When I procured my pull cart, I ordered the part where you can attach an umbrella AND be able to change the angle to deal with the sun. WOW! What a difference....it worked like a champ!

Why it makes me happy - I hadn't bowled in FOREVER. I would say I never was very good at it. I think I did roll ONE 200 game along the way. Anyway, it was just fun to go out and do.

-----Key to winning at bowling? Make sure you take someone along that has substantially smaller feet than you do. It's not a guarantee but it's not a bad rule of thumb
