HappyUP!!! - my pillow!
Why it happened - I brought it for the car when I was the passenger (see Day 143)
Why it made me happy - once we got to the hotel, I said, "hey, I might as well bring my pillow in with me." I know that some people travel with their pillows religiously. I have always thought those people to be a bit persnickety. I do have to say that, even though the hotels pillows were nice, my melon much prefers the pillow and case to which it is accustomed. Would I pack my pillow along if I had to fly? Nah.....I think that would be a bit much. But, if I have to drive, why not!

Why it happened - we did team building after our training today
Why it made me happy - I got to spend some social time with people I didn't know. Plus, we went to an Indian Casino in Bakersfield. Now, "casino" was a bit of a stretch. It was more like a large seedy card room....packed with people from Bakersfield who consider this venue to be the highlight of their Bakersfield day...oh my! We just did a fun dinner and tournament to ourselves so we were sequestered away from the locals. No, I didn't miss much by not experiencing the total "local Bakersfield vibe."

Why it happened - I was counted on
Why it made me happy - after having gone to Toastmasters for years, it is great when you get to go to a place and let your skills shine....have some fun...etc. I know my boss appreciates it...it's always good to please the boss.
