Why it makes me happy- Mike at Apple was GREAT! I got an hour of one on one. Cassie at LoveSac has been very helpful. I stopped by Restoration Hardware just to browse....they had a ROBE there. It was on sale and would do the job. I needed a new one forever and wasn’t even shopping for one. Then, right across the aisle, I saw Crate N Barrel. “Hey, I need a teapot...a really cool black one. I wonder if they would.......”...no sooner did I step in the door but ...BAM!!!...there it was. In and out in minutes!!!

Why it makes me happy - it’s funny listening to people my age and older when you show them great stuff. “You are becoming a tech geek! We can’t trust them!” First of all, at my age, it obviously doesn’t take much to be a “tech geek”.  Second, you go, “dude, embrace the technology. It can make a lot of good stuff GREAT! ...and it doesn’t take much effort. Oh...wait...yeah...you are kinda busy. You want to watch the 49ers lose again....as opposed to learning something. I get it.”

Why it makes me happy - it's cold. The hole is playing long. Got it to on top of the hill. 145 yards out. A bit of a stretch but I hit the 8 iron anyway. Put it behind the pin (yeah...I rocked it). Tricky little downhill left to righter from about 14 feet....and it NEVER left the line to the pin. Closing with a birdie? YEAH!!! HappyUP!!!!

Why it makes me happy -we had a full 12 dudes out there on a Sunday. THAT is INSANE!!! We sometimes struggle to make 4 or 5. My foursome was the low handicaps and it was a competive deal. I got to watch a dude throw a 69 down on me. That's 3 under par, sports fans! My partner and I survived the onslaught and managed a narrow victory!  4 wins in a row...I am rolling on it!

It has to me and I see it all around me.  I have found a mental groove that is helping me transcend the ups and the downs. It is more of a "BE-ing" with it.  The score will be what the score will be. No thinking, "I got to move this that way and another thing this way..."....whoa! All golfers know that drill. Just having a great time....and a lot of confidence

Why it makes me happy - should have batted 100% on up and downs from the kitty litter today (left a putt 1/4 of a turn short). Great feeling from the beach as of late

Why it makes me happy - first, the guy who would have benefitted questioned me. Second, the guy that made the ruling was wrong. Third, when given the chance to "right his wrong," he was a bit arrogant. Me? I went, "OK, I'll roll with it." The outcome ended up resulting in a big win in my favor!

Why it makes me happy -the runt sent her favorite toy down into a vent. I had it open...had to use a coat hanger to get it. If you have ever worked with a coat hanger that you have to bend, you know that can be frustrating....especially when a kitten is trying to jump down the hole. THAT would have been a fire department call for sure! All is well....Q-ball and the mouse are reunited

Why it makes me happy - I am less than enamored by my grocery store's rewards program. Unless you are a "coupon clipper," (I am not) it is easy to end up "burnin" these. Not today. Saved myself about $15. NICE!!!

Why it makes me happy - forgot all about buying these a couple of months ago in a fundraiser for a local school. The little neighbor girl (the student body president) delivered them tonight. I took up the initiative and put a couple of dozen in the oven. Somebody will be very happy tomorrow!

Why it makes me happy- it ended up being chilly on the range mid-day. I said, "I don't think it is going to get warmer this afternoon."  A little dash home and my shorts turned into pants and I am glad they did!
