Why it happened - I love no one on my shoulder

Why it makes me happy - as I work at my computer everyday, I am multi-tasking...managing investments, doing my officer work on numerous volunteer websites, making tee times, organizing other things, helping people with their events, doing research....etc. It's great when I get a Facebook notification for a little humorous break and can interact with my friends. All without worrying that I am stealing time from an employer. I love my life!

Why it happened - Toastmasters

Why it makes me happy - I'm not big into badges. Quite frankly, I think they can be a little silly. But, the game is the game and I have never had a problem picking up designations. My club benefitted from my efforts today.

Why it makes me happy - they had the product I bought in stock. Even throught the manufacturer had never heard of the problem I was having, I was more than happy to give it another shot......and the exchange was quick. Thumbs up to Loews.

Why it happened - I am guessing the heat

Why it makes me happy - experience saved the day. A less skilled/mature driver would have panicked.....possibly bump into someone...I almost did. I used coasting and the emergency brake to get to safety.....do a restart/reboot of the truck's system....no issues. Yeah...I have to monitor this but, if it recurs, I will know what to do.

Why it happened - I was tidying up

Why it makes me happy - ever buy something....than have the thing be defective....and, yeah, this was the one time that you lost the receipt? I discovered the defect on Sunday....called the manufacturer yesterday....was told I needed proof of purchase. Unfortunately, I had made the purchase a month ago and was just now putting the equipment in use....receipt LONG GONE

..........or so I thought - I was grinning ear to ear when I was going through some paperwork and came upon that financial record today!

Why it makes me happy - nothing worse than going somewhere when you have a problem and having a "failure to repeat." While the problem wasn't totally flushed out today, their was an indicator....and something to look into further. Thank You!!! Our family will get to the bottom of this.

Why it makes me happy - the horserace is a tournament within the tournament. It's a gradual elimination after you are paired with the guest of another member. If you get down to the finals, it's four teams playing the last hole for all the marbles.....with every other contestant circling the final green as a gallery watching you come in. Pressure?....uh....yeah!

Why it makes me happy - we were tied with one other team so we had to "chip it off" with everyone watching. The other team went first. My partner then got up and hit his a little fat and didn't quite get on the green. It all got down to me.......and I knocked it well inside the other team. (Insert Queen music here-----"We Are the Champions, My Friends"). Great fun and I have a new Canadian friend, my GREAT partner in this endeavor.

Why it makes me happy - it had been raining most of the day. The sun came out so I decided to go slap some balls around the driving range. After smacking a few spuds, I looked around and saw that nobody was playing the front 9. I checked doppler in the pro shop and any storms looked like they would be to the north of us. I got in the middle of the third fairway.....took a look in the distance...and said, "I think Mr Doppler missed the call on this one." I hiked in, got in the car, drove home, and then the bucket brigade started flowing....with hail. Lucky, warm, dry and happy!

Why it makes me happy - I nearly made the ace. I had a slick, breaking putt coming back down the hill...left to right....not a right handers favorite. WHAT a beauty......though it hung on the lip and didn't fall.

Why it makes me happy - I pitch the ball well. My chipping can be suspect. I told my playing partner that I had a brand new shot that I was going to try for first time "on the course." I chipped it in the hole

Why it makes me happy - there is nothing like hitting a good wedge to a semi-blind pin....knowing it was a good shot...and then coming up over the rise to see........you don't even have to putt. It doesn't happen that much...got a double dose of it today.

<-----Family time at the lake....hard to see the 4 little goslings...I wasn't going to get too close. It was my first sighting of newborns this spring.

Why it makes me happy - I have a very effective little shot with my hybrid. It's a bit unorthodox. I decided to see if the same grip and technique would work with an 8 iron....DYN-O-MITE! This shot is going to be very handy!

I was shocked that he not only remembered me.......but recounted details about our friendship from 30 yrs ago that blew me away. The Head Pro came by....saw me hit three balls.....liked a lot of what I was doing......gave me one little drill and adjustment.....BAM! The ball flight and ball striking change was DRAMATIC! More work to do on it but I'm glad this isn't a major swing change.
