Why it makes me happy - it had been raining most of the day. The sun came out so I decided to go slap some balls around the driving range. After smacking a few spuds, I looked around and saw that nobody was playing the front 9. I checked doppler in the pro shop and any storms looked like they would be to the north of us. I got in the middle of the third fairway.....took a look in the distance...and said, "I think Mr Doppler missed the call on this one." I hiked in, got in the car, drove home, and then the bucket brigade started flowing....with hail. Lucky, warm, dry and happy!

Why it makes me happy - I love golf.........and The Masters. The Masters is the highest level of pressure in the game. The back 9 at Augusta is world famous....especially on Masters Sunday. Today was one of the most incredible finishes I have ever seen

Why it makes me happy - what a beautiful bride and handsome groom. My GF was radiant as she watched her oldest get married. It was magical to be there...on her arm....on such a special day......amongst people that have become family and such good friends

Why it makes me happy - the wedding couple needed a pianist late in the game due to a snafu. I was thrilled to be able to help them out by bringing this special friend in. My friend played a recent gig for me and was grateful I looked him up again. He and I will be recording some suff again soon, I am sure. It was great to hear him. My late brother used to do some crewing for him and his band back in the day. Anytime I see this guy, it's the best.

Why it happened - I had the "small group" today

Why it makes me happy - we have two distinct opportunities in the Wed Toastmaster group that I have the privilege of mentoring. One is the "big room" and the other is the "small room." We had 7 people in the small room............but it was as good a meeting as you can have in Toastmasters. I conferred with my co-mentor who was in the "big room." Though our club is new, he said a guest made a comment, "I have visited four clubs in the last week.....this is the best run one I have seen so far." My mentor partner and I feel like our members have made great strides......but, many times, we feel like we are paddling as mad as we can under the water. We are farther ahead than we think.

Why it makes me happy - my phone said it was out of memory to take pictures. Yet, I didn't have that many pics on there. I delved into the memory....turns out that, due to a recent iPhones synch, my entire music catalog had downloaded on to my phone......NOT anything I had tried to do. Anyway, I just felt great to have figured this deal out. I know....a 16 yr old would have know immediately. Hey....at my age.....love thinking like a 16 yr old with the wisdom of the age that I have luckily acquired!
