Why it makes me happy - was on the doorstep of fulfilling my Quest on the golf course today...just came up a little short. I know what it will take. I may be running out of time this season...but...that's OK.  27 putts...and only made one putt outside 8 feet.

Why it makes me happy- not an easy shot to put within 4 feet of the hole.  Then, my opponent drains a 20 footer for birdie...that made the putt a little longer for me. No worries. Right in the hole...back to even par...and spurred me to get closer to completing.....The Quest!

Why it makes me happy - rain was in the forecast originally. It was a PERFECT day to be out on the course. Not to warm, not too cold. Just lovely and with a nice group of guys. My chipping and putting were spot on. Turned in a nice round. Getting familiar with the new driver. Easy E is even going to modify my 3 wood to see what kind of help I may get there

Why it makes me happy- when someone asks me to do something, I really want to do it right. Always do your best. The thing is my best can take some time. I had put this off long enough. I unlocked the key to how to do this and will be applying that in the future! Guy was thrilled with my output which makes me happy happy happy!

Why it makes me happy -we had a full 12 dudes out there on a Sunday. THAT is INSANE!!! We sometimes struggle to make 4 or 5. My foursome was the low handicaps and it was a competive deal. I got to watch a dude throw a 69 down on me. That's 3 under par, sports fans! My partner and I survived the onslaught and managed a narrow victory!  4 wins in a row...I am rolling on it!

Why it makes me happy - been at this sport for a long time. It can get to you. It has to me and I see it all around me.  I have found a mental groove that is helping me transcend the ups and the downs. It is more of a "BE-ing" with it.  The score will be what the score will be. No thinking, "I got to move this that way and another thing this way..."....whoa! All golfers know that drill. Just having a great time....and a lot of confidence

If you have ever worked with a coat hanger that you have to bend, you know that can be frustrating....especially when a kitten is trying to jump down the hole.
