Why it happened - tradition
Why it makes me happy - there is little better than a walk late on Christmas Eve. The world is eerily quiet as everyone has made there way to be where they are supposed to be for the night. Very peaceful.

Why it makes me happy - it was so great to get to meet and visit with these people....and enjoy the cookies they brought
